Founder & Product Engineer.
"Kushal is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Over the last 15 years, I've previously hired 650 freelancers on upwork. Kushal is in the top 10!! WOW. I will continue to hire him as long as he is available."
"He's a very smart developer who had a lot thrown at him to deal with. Despite this, he always had a great personality and was warm and professional, which made working with him a joy."
A Philosophy of Care &
Craft
Architected to Adapt
Before thinking about features, I isolate the core problem: who is the user, and what exact friction are they facing? Once the true goal is clear, I design an architecture prioritizing scalability, modularity, and clean logic. This heavy upfront focus on understanding the foundation means that when features or goals inevitably shift during development, the system easily adapts rather than breaking down.
Engineered to Feel
I define the ideal user experience first, then reverse-engineer the technology required to build it. I am completely tech-agnostic; if a new framework delivers a substantially better experience, I will learn and use it. I obsess over the micro-interactions, the UI details, and the unseen code to ensure the final product doesn't just work—it feels deliberate, polished, and substantial in your hands.
Driven by Empathy
In the age of AI, generating a functional app is trivial. But because it’s so easy, the market is flooded with software that feels hollow and inconsiderate. What I actually provide is human taste and deep empathy for the user's workflow. The simple act of caring intensely about the end experience is what separates a generic, AI-wrapped tool from a product people genuinely enjoy using.
A Story of Curiosity &
Passion
Fascination with Games
My interest in software started with breaking them. I was obsessed with how games worked, so I taught myself C++ and reverse engineering just to mess with memory manipulation. I didn't know it at the time, but pulling those binaries apart to see how they ticked gave me the exact low-level foundation I use today to architect scalable software.
Building the Foundation
While pursuing my computer science degree, I started turning my ideas into products. I built 'Great Sage,' an algorithmic tool that mapped out personalized learning paths using a massive knowledge graph which expanded as users added new skills. It was my first real test in taking a complex logic problem and designing a data-driven product around it.
The Birth of Syncit
I hated the friction of trying to watch videos in sync with friends, so I built a tool to fix it. Syncit started as a quick idea in a computer lab and turned into a multi-year deep dive into Chrome Extension architecture and real-time networking. It taught me how to relentlessly iterate on a product until the user experience is exactly right.
Independent From the Start
After university, I skipped the traditional job route and jumped straight into freelancing. I don't run from the uncertainty of working for myself; I embrace it to force faster growth. Since then, I've architected everything from advanced extensions to automated generative video pipelines, bringing a founder's mindset to every product I touch.
Scaling my Impact
Right now, my focus is on pure execution. I am finalizing the architecture for the official launch of Syncit while continuing to partner with ambitious clients. I treat every freelance project with the same rigor and high-velocity mindset as my own products—building systems that are designed to win.
